4th WALL BREAKING: Yes. Accidentally call him Lindsey McDonald, even. I think it could be hilarious.
THREADJACKING: Go for it.
BACK THREADING: Do eet~
MIND READING/CONTROL: He's mentally stronger than an average normal human, but he doesn't have concrete defenses against mind reading. Yet. He'll probably find a way to work against it if experiencing it enough times. If this is an ability that matches wills against each other, it'll be up to you with this in mind; he's survived extended periods of time in PoW camps, being tortured for information, without breaking.
LOCATION SENSING: Depends. He's a normal human, so I don't know if that affects how your character senses locations.
TELEPATHY: Eliot will probably get very growly and defensive, as it's intrusive, but until he gets a feel for it there's no stopping your character.
FIGHTING CAPABILITIES: Eliot is sometimes considered a master at fighting. Between durability, speed, experience and technique he's very good at fighting. He's also proficient at firearms, but doesn't like guns.
INJURY/DEATH: If it happens, it happens. Death... only if plotted.
MEDICAL/PHYSICAL INFO: Let's just say that Eliot is very... sturdy.
ROMANCE/RELATIONSHIPS: It does happen, so it's possible.
SEXUAL RELATIONS: Oh, he's had them. In character, he could very well have them in the game as well. Personally? I'd like to fade-to-black or handwave that part.
PHYSICAL CONTACT: Depends on the situation. I'm not going to stop it, but we'll end up seeing how it turns out in character.
Eliot is able to pick out various things for a distinctive trait that it carries. Examples are:
So, here's what I'm asking from you;
Is there anything about your character that Eliot can pick up on? Whether it's where they are from, military/mercenary affiliations, fighting styles prefered or anything else. Like being able to tell that Roy Mustang has been in some kind of military by the way he talks, but (obviously) not that he's from the Amestris military. So the limits are either traits common from a certain background, or things that actually exist on Earth.
If so, what would he be able to pick up, and what's the distinctive trait that he can pick this up with?
This isn't limited to combat and militia-like groups. It can be as simple as where someone's from, what kind of work they do, or some tells. Tells being signs of lying or an intention to do something.

PERMISSIONS FROM YOU
Eliot is able to pick out various things for a distinctive trait that it carries. Examples are:
- Can hear a gun fire, and determine the model.
- Has identified military and other unit affiliations through stances, haircuts, footprints, and knife fighting styles.
So, here's what I'm asking from you;
Is there anything about your character that Eliot can pick up on? Whether it's where they are from, military/mercenary affiliations, fighting styles prefered or anything else. Date: 2011-09-04 03:53 pm (UTC)Kuwabara... you probably know xD Um. He's a punk kid, which is obvious from his demeanor, who has no developed fighting style other than his own which is trial-and-error. He's self-taught so kind of clumsy and that's probably obvious, lol.

Date: 2011-09-04 06:25 pm (UTC)Nationality:German
Military: First Lieutenant German Army [WWII era] So.. Nazi.
Fighting: Hand to hand.. not her strongest point. Might be able to pick up the scent of gunpowder and blood from her.
Gun: If he ever hears it fired is a flintlock musket.[Good luck dodging.]

Date: 2011-09-04 08:55 pm (UTC)Ulquiorra moves like a swordsman who's used to being in a dangerous area and speaks like an intelligence officer.
PM is visibly skittish, the way someone who isn't used to friendly company would, and tends to tap her sword when she's nervous and grip it when she's annoyed. She's been getting some proper training and it might show a bit, but she's hardly an expert.
Hiei moves like an experienced swordsman, but doesn't show any signs of military training.

Date: 2011-09-05 05:57 pm (UTC)Vincent Valentine : Not military per se, but definitely a fighter. He was form the TURKS, which is a covert ops kind of unit. He's primarily a sniper, but his gun is custom-made and unique to his world. It also has three canons that discharge at the same time. He used to be an assassing and infiltrator, which will probably show.
Hyuuga Hinata : She does look like a normal girl, but she is wearing the same forehead protector as several other people here (she ties it around her neck). As a trained close combat hand-to-hand fighter, her stance probably reveals that she is more than what she seems.

Date: 2011-09-07 06:23 pm (UTC)Al also doesn't exactly have a martial arts style (probably some modified derivative), but from his reflexes and even just the way he moves sometimes, it's kind of obvious that he's both skilled and well-trained in fighting in real life or death situations. He does not actually carry a weapon other than a hunting knife in his boot, which is more of a tool.

Date: 2011-09-21 03:48 pm (UTC)Maybe in time, Eliot would be adapting this to notice what a person is, like demons, aliens and vampires, but that's not quite possible yet.

Date: 2011-09-21 03:55 pm (UTC)Lestat was born in France, pre-French Revolution; that much can be told from his accent alone. He was born to an aristocratic family, and his style of dress could probably scream 'rock star'. He's also fond of slang, both modern and old. There are no callouses on his fingers anymore, since vampires heal their scars really easily.
Red X doesn't have an identifiable martial arts style, otherwise I'd tell you what it is. But his toned, yet slim body would indicate he's an acrobat.
Naraku's style of dress and make-up would indicate he's from Feudal Japan, as well.

Date: 2011-09-25 02:16 pm (UTC)Ray - Assassin. Through and through. It's in everything he does.
Beka - He can probably tell she's been in law enforcement of some sort from how she moves and how she's always looking around a scene.
Michiru - Nothing special
Ren - She moves like a dancer, and he might notice there's something almost too perfect about it.

Date: 2011-09-25 04:52 pm (UTC)Undertaker is a dirty fighter and is able to handle wooden grave markers as if they were weapons, not to mention he handles a large scythe. I'm not sure what could be picked up on him about that since he wears robe like clothing so it could be hard to tell unless he's discarded the outter robe for whatever reason. He's a Londoner by his accent.
Tsuzuki's style of fighting usually involves ofuda and the summoning of his shiki, but he knows how to throw a punch so perhaps basic self defence. I don't remeber if it was ever gotten into =\a. He's Japanese and probably speaks some old dialect.
I kinda suck at half of the permission posts.
